location- Located on Wickham Terrace, this hotel overlooks Albert Park and a heritage listed convict-built mill. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk in to the city centre and Central Station and Roma Street transit centre are only a few minutes away. rooms- Rooms are simply furnished and clean. Double rooms have queen sized beds and twin rooms offer two single beds. Each room features its own private balcony, in-room movies and airconditioning. There is no mini-bar, however guests can access snacks and refreshments from vending machines located in the hotel and have them charged to their account. restaurant- The rooftop restaurant and lounge bar are fully licensed and offer panoramic views of the Brisbane city skyline.
exterior- This purpose built, cylindrical tower stands ten stories high and is clearly signposted. Guest car parking is available underground and outside. lobby- Small functional lobby with 24 hour reception and luggage storage facilities available. No seating available currently due to renovations. general- ***The hotel is undergoing major refurbishment on the ground level. The renovations are due for completion by January 2006 and will result in a new lobby, bar, conference facilities and restaurant. In the meantime, there is minimal disruption to guests as works are only taking place during business hours and on the ground floor only.***MN0905. 3 kms to city centre. 15 kms to the nearest airport (brisbane). 2 km to the nearest station (central station). 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. Close to the beach.
