CRADLE MOUNTAIN LODGE
location- Cradle Mountain Lodge is a wilderness retreat set on the northern edge of the World Heritage listed 131,920 hectare Cradle Mountain /Lake St. Clair National Park. This area is the last great temperate wilderness remaining in Australia and one of the last remaining in the world. The Lodge is 375 km from Hobart (4.5 hrs drive), 81km from Devonport (1 1/4 hrs) and 142 km from Launceston (2 hrs drive). RATES INCLUDE BUFFET BREAKFAST AND SOME LODGE ACTIVITIES.
rooms- The rooms of the hotel are medium. Quality of the rooms and bathrooms are in very good condition. Cosy cabins fan out along a gentle slope to create a village like atmosphere. Cabins feature log fires, tea / coffee making facilites, fridge and hairdyer. restaurant- The Highland Restaurant is a premier dining experience. The Tavern Bar and Bistro has a rustic tavern atmosphere.
