location- Location Beachfront Backpackers and Budget Accommodation, located located in the heart of Shark Bay World Heritage region of Western Australia, 27 km from Denham, overlooking the famous Dolphin Beach. Because. As the Resort is located within a Reserve guests have to pay entrance fees on arrival to CALM for the continual protection, welfare and research into the wildlife and dolphins. Spectacular contrast of sky, crystal clear water, white sand beaches and dark red hinterland. The Bottle Nosed Dolphins have been coming into the beach on average 3 times a day to feed and interact with humans - have been doing so for the past 40 years. In the last 5 years they have only missed visiting the beach on 4 occasions, so chances of experiencing some dolphin interaction is very possible. rooms- Basic but clean rooms with shared facilities. Consists of one double bed and one bunk bed – linen is included. Two shared ensuites share one bathroom/toilet. restaurant- The Lodge offers a large modern and fully-equipped communal kitchen, and gas BBQs. Monkey Bar and Cafe are at the Resort. exterior- Low rise property, scattered through the National park. 1 swimming pool, snorkelling, sailing, water sports. lobby- Small Reception area, with a Mini Mart shop. general- The dolphins are just the beginning ….’ There is heaps of things to see and do – Sailing Cruises, 4WD Tours, Aboriginal Cultural Walks, Camel Rides, Astronomy and Dive Tours plus much more.
