The Gran Hotel Benahavis is a new exclusive hotel located in the small white village of Benahavis of a few hundred inhabitants. This picturesque location is known as the "Gastronomic Corner of the Costa Del Sol" due to its 30 plus superb restaurants.

Surrounded by the benahavis mountains with typical Mediterranean low forest of aromatic plants and flowers, the village is only 60kms from both Malaga and Gibraltar airports, 10 minutes from the fashionable Puerto Banus and Marbella.

The road that leads to the village runs parallel to the river Guadalmina through precipitous rocks, rising out of the surrounding forest, The town is known to have been refuge and settlement to the Arabs, and is in fact named after the Kings son Havis "Ben-Havis".

To complement the wellness experience, organic fruit and vegetables are grown within the grounds of the Gran Hotel Benahavis which are then used in the hotels restaurants.

From the Gran Hotel Benahavis it is possible to see a magnificent panorama that will give you a splendid idea of the village and the surrounding terrain.
The hotel is built in an Andalusian "cortijo" style architecture offering a total of 95 rooms : 28 double rooms, 52 twin rooms (including fiver pairs of interconnecting cabana rooms), 5 junior suites, 6 one bedroom suites and 4 two bedroom suites. All the twin beds can be converted into king size beds.

The hotel creates an intimate atmosphere. All rooms have been designed using luxurious fabrics and are fully air conditioned with individual temperature control. Many rooms have large balconies to enjoy the beautiful views of benahavis village or the surrounding mountains and all are equipped with a private mini bar, direct dial telephone, satellite tv, safety deposit box and ironing facilities. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with shower,bathtub, hairdryer,bathrobes and carefully selected amenities. Additionally all suites and cabanas have Jacuzzis , with the suites being furthermore advantaged with seperate shower.
