Calcutta Trip. British Airways LHR - CCU
SO...after a 5 hour layover, i am ready to catch my flight home! i have not seen family in three years so, needless to say, i am pretty psyched.
little tired from my earlier flight, didnt catch any sleep or anything. but once i board this flight, i plan on downing a big swig of nyquil and zzzzzzzz for the next 7 hours.
Bit of a strange flight of sorts. Taking off from Heathrow was windy, flown many a times but this was as bad as i have experienced. Landing in Calcutta was stranger - just cos we landed in dense fog in the middle of May (the average temp. hovers around 120)! little wierd.
anyways, was rather thrilled to see my family upon arrival.

|  | This is a very long flight from London Heathrow Airport (EGLL) to Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX). Departure was at early afternoon and arrival was in the late afternoon on the same day. On the way, this flight passes many countries (mentioned in video). This video concludes my trip around the world (total flight time will be about 48 hours). Check my channel for the upcoming playlist!

|  | Landing on runway 27L. This time it landed on the right spot, but not once, but twice!! I think the plane descended too fast and its bounced on the runway before the brake and reverse thrust was deployed. Anyway, nice flight on the A340 though, although my IFE not working throughout 7.5 hrs journey from Doha... Damn!!
ps: I'm sorry I don't have a video on this plane taking off from Doha. When the roll out began, my camera was recording normally before it suddenly jammed almost before we took off. You all should know how upset I was, it was a very rare chance in your life to be in A340-600 right? |
