location- Located by the famous Cable Beach in Broome. Broome offers unique natural

ions and is pearling capital of Australia, with magnificent blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Cable beach stretches along 23-kilometres of white sand, with camel rides at sunrise and sunset . The only resort located just accross from Cable Beach. It s a few minutes by car to the historic pearling town of Broome, and makes a great base for exploring the spectacular Kimberley region.

rooms- Rooms are large, with polished timber floors and jarrah furniture, airconditioning, ceiling fan, private verandah, in house movies. Tea/coffee makers, mini bar, hairdryer, iron & ironing board. Bathrooms with shower only. Rooms were refurbished in 2004. restaurant- There are 3 restaurants. Kimberley BBQ (closed every Oct - March), Asian Affair (closed Oct - Mar), Club Restaurant - open 7 days a week for dinner over the Summer season, Sunset Bar & Cafe - open 7 days, breakfast/lunch/dinner.
exterior- Low rise resort, the architecture is a mix of tropical Kimberley house with Chinese influence. Walls are made of Australiana painted corrugated iron (with brick walls behind). 26 acres of gardens with pandanus palms & gum trees, fish & water lilies in the lagoon. Great main pool area, as well as a quieter pool for those wishing to get away. lobby- Pleasant, tropical style lobby, with outlook to the pool area ahead, and a shop to the right side. Many original art works throughout the hotel, acquired by the founder of the property - Britain s Lord McAlpine. general- Considered to be the best resort Broome offers. CREDIT CARD guarantee upon check-in is required, or guests are required to pay $400 cash bond for incidentals such as mini-bar and telephone calls. The deposit can be taken by EFTPOS. Cheques will not be accepted. Guests who dine in Cable Beach Club outlets need to pay by cash or credit card at the restaurant. Food and Beverage cannot be billed to the guests room. If guests do not use entire amount of the bond, they will be refunded in cash.

PLEASE NOTE FROM 11 FEB TO 31 MARCH 2006: Works will be carried out at the Family (Club) Pool surrounds & Ocean Pool surrounds. Works include Paving & fencing being replaced. Facilities affected include Children’s play equipment & Beach Volley ball court adjacent to Club Pool will be unavailable for use.
Please note: Both pools will remain open for use during this time & alternative play equipment is located next to the Kimberley Kids Club.
