location- This hotel is situated on the edge of the Daintree National Park, protected by World Heritage status. It overlooks an idyllic lagoon. Port Douglas is 20 minutes away. Set on Mossman River, you can experience the wonders of the oldest living Rainforest in the world. Fly into Cairns and land transfer to Mossman or cruise from Cairns. rooms- Chalets (rooms) are medium in size and cosy. Most have a queen-size bed and a single bed. They are in a good condition, along with the bathrooms. There are no TV s here, to help guests leave the outide world behind. Chalets were refurbished in 2001. restaurant- Treehouse restaurant is an open design, allowing the ambience of the rainforest to flow through. Picnic baskets are also available. Jungle Perch is above Mossman River Gorge, affording great views of Daintree. exterior- The building is designed to blend into the magnificent natural surroundings. lobby- The lobby is small. general- This hotel is Australia s most exclusive Wilderness Lodge with individual tree house chalets and fine dining.
