location- This hotel is located, as the name indicates, at the Gare Midi, the Euro star terminal. It is a short taxi or metro ride to the centre of town. rooms- Whilst the bedrooms are equipped with the new Ibis concept, the size of the rooms are 24m squared and are similar to those of the Novotel in as much as they all have a double bed and a sofa bed. The only exception is that the bathrooms are shower only and the toilet is not separated from the bathroom. It is located on the ground floor and has a wooden floor and is quite dark and atmospheric. exterior- Although the buildings in this area are all still very traditional, this is a brand new and modern building which stands out from its surroundings. lobby- The lobby is medium in size and modern and incorporates the bar/brasserie which is very popular with both the locals and hotel guests. It serves traditional Belgian fare. general- The newest three star property in Brussels and with a very good location for Euro star passengers, this is ideal for both groups and fits on a budget.
