location- The hotel is situated next to the park of Campo Grande and directly opposite the Castro Alves theatre. It is also the main pathway of where the Carnival passes though. It is five minutes from Farol Da Barra beach and ten minutes from the famous Pelourinho district for which Salvador is famed. rooms- All the rooms are medium to large in size with half of the rooms in very good condition and with the bathrooms also being in good to very good condition. There are modern with dark wood furnishings and a couple of modern paintings in each room. Many have views over Campo Grande and the theatre. The remaining fifty per cent of the rooms are also in good condition with similar decor but slightly older in style and decor. restaurant- The restaurant is situated on the ground floor to the left of the entrance. It has marble flooring, dark wood furnishings and a huge wall mural showing the life, colours and culture of Salvadors s population and this mural is part of the cities heritage. The cuisine served is intenational. exterior- A large, modern white construction. lobby- The lobby is large, open-plan, modern throughout with large window facades. It has a large bar area serving mainly cocktails and snacks and there is another seating area above which there is a big screen on which music and sporting events are shown. It also incorporates a circular jewellery boutique and other small boutiques and local greenery and a host of sculptures and small arts are scattered around to add to the overall decor. general- This is without doubt the best hotel in downtown Salvador.
