Description ASCOT (PENTHOUSE)

location- A very central location within easy access of Tivoli gardens, the main shopping street Storeget , Town Hall Square, and a multitude of bars, cafes, and restaurants. It is a two minute walk from the main train station where the airport bus stops. rooms- The Penthouse apartments are of large in size and kept in a nice condition. They are located on the top floor of the building and have spectacular views over the roof tops and church spires of Copenhagen, and all include balconies. They are comfortable and furnished to a good standard. There is a toilet in the entrance hallway to each apartment, and an en-suite bathroom off the bedroom. The kitchens are modern and well fitted and contain all utensils, plates, cups, and cookery. restaurant- The restaurant is usually only open for breakfast only and is located in a large and grand hall behind the lobby. It is painted white, with a high decorative ceiling being held by pillars. exterior- The apartments are located in a collection of traditionally styled buildings which have been merged to form a hotel and apartment complex. The buildings were formerly a public bathhouse for bourgeoise Copenhageners, and there are still architectural reminders of this within the buildings. The hotel next door is a 5 story brown brick building, and the apartments are of a more modern design. lobby- Although the reception area is small it is has been well restored and contains beautiful pillars and carvings. Because the apartment complex is made up of several buildings, there are a number of small staircases and hallways. The apartments have direct lift access to each floor. general- The apartment building is a good property situated in a great location. This property offers good value for money. A buffet breakfast with one or two hot dishes is served in the restaurant of the hotel. The restaurant is open for breakfast only. (09/06 LC). 12 kms to the nearest airport (copenhagen). Close to the station (central station). 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. 8 km to the nearest fair site (bella center).
