location- The hotel is located a few minutes walk from La Croisette and the Palais des Festivals. Far away from the crowd, but in the heart of the city, at the beginning of the Boulevard Carnot the main thoroughfare. rooms- Each floor has one predominant colour.The rooms are of medium size and decorated with an elegant touch, using noble materials and superb furniture. Both rooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition. restaurant- The breakfast room is located on the ground floor behind the reception. It is a cosy room with wooden floor and floral draped curtains. The hotel provides many homemade items such as jams, cakes and crumbles. exterior- This is a "Rococo" style building with colonnaded facade which has been restored to its former glory. The facade is actually classified as a historical monument. lobby- This is not a lobby as such, but more of an open reception desk, decorated in a contemporary baroque style. The ambiance is of a private "demeures" of the 19th century. This leads directly to the lift, dating from the 1920 s and the Carrara marble staircase. general- This is a superb property with personalised service. In the evening the breakfast rooms is turned into the bar area where clients can help themselves to drinks free of charge.( 0606/SS ). 30 kms to the nearest airport (nice). Close to the station (cannes). 1 km to the nearest fair site (palais des festivals). 1 km to the nearest beach.
