location- Located on a large area of reclaimed land facing the South China Sea, the hotel is situated nearby the city centre surrounded by a 27-hole championship golf course and landscaped pools and gardens. 8 kms from the international airport and 7 kms from the downtown area. rooms- The medium sized air-conditioned rooms come with bathroom, films, coffee and tea facilities, mini bar/fridge, iron and safe (they are in good condition). The bathrooms are also of medium size and are in good condition. restaurant- The two main restaurants are Japanese and Chinese/Thai. In addition, there is a 24-hour coffee house selling both local and international dishes. exterior- A very modern large 12-storey property. lobby- The large lobby is very bright, with lots of natural sunlight. The colours used are pastel colours and there are plenty of comfortable armchairs and green plants. general- this is a good superior first class hotel. In terms of recreation, this hotel has much to offer, including mini movie theatre and a bowling alley. The only draw back is that there is no beach, however boat charters and cruises are available to get-away to islands, beaches, sea fishing and many water sports.(JS19/04/06). 5 kms to city centre. 12 kms to the nearest airport (kota kinabalu). 5 km to the nearest station (norht borneo railway station). 15 km to the nearest fair site (sabah trade centre). Close to the beach.
