location- This hotel is located in the city centre, directly opposite Central Station and within walking distance of the main shopping centre and nightlife of Rotterdam. rooms- The rooms are large and in keeping with the rest of the hotel are very modern. They are decorated in white and have yellow carpets, modern lighting, Westin beds and are complete with a desk and chair and blue armchairs. The bathrooms are large with cream marble effect tiled floors and dark granite sink. They have a seperate shower cubicle and both bedrooms and bathrooms have a deluxe quality about them. restaurant- The restaurant/bar area has part wooden floor, part carpeted. The chairs are either a deep red, royal blue or beige. The white walls and spotlights are again inkeeping with the modern feel. The restaurant serves international cuisine and is located on the 7th floor. exterior- A modern high rise building with a marble and glass facade. lobby- The lobby is large with exceptionally high ceiling making the area very bright. The entrance has a marble effect floor however the seating area is covered with a blue/grey carpet. The chairs are modern in design with grey seat covering and dark wood backs. general- This is probably the best hotel in Rotterdam and offers comfort and good service and has an excellent location. 08/2006/jg. 6 kms to the airport (rotterdam). 55 kms to the airport (sch). 4 minute walk to the nearest metro station (rotterdam central station). Close to the station (rotterdam central station). 3 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. Close to the trade fair ground (de doelen).
