location- This hotel is located in a lovely tree lined residential street, close to the city centre of Utrecht. rooms- The rooms are small to medium in size and have a fairly traditional look with blue carpets and darkwood furniture. The bathrooms are small but like the roms are in a good condition, however some are with shower only. restaurant- The hotel doesn t have a restaurant, just a small breakfast room which is located on the ground floor overlooking a lovely garden where breakfast may be served, weather permitting. exterior- A traditonal building in keeping with the surrounding buildings with a small front garden. lobby- The lobby is large with plenty of leather armchairs in a tan colour. The reception desk is also a tanned wood and there is also a wood floor. The attractive chandeliers that hang from the ceilings and the paintings that adorn the walls make this a very attractive and welcoming area. There is also a small bar which is due to be renovated and the owners will also add a small library to the lobby in the near future. general- This is a very lovely family run hotel, suitable for individuals or small groups. jg/11/2006. 1 kms to city centre. 35 kms to the nearest airport (amsterdam). 3 km to the nearest station (centraal station utrecht). 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. 3 km to the nearest fair site (jaarbeurs). 45 km to the nearest beach.
