Montecarlo Hotel
The three stars Hotel Montecarlo is situated by the Santa Margarita beach in Roses, in the Costa Brava region of the north east coast of Spain, about 41 miles from Girona Airport, 100 miles north of Barcelona and 19 miles from the French border.
The accommodation, at the Hotel Montecarlo, comprises 126 single, double and triple rooms, and 90 renovated rooms, each having a fully equipped bathroom and a balcony with sea views. All rooms are equipped with a telephone and a safety security box, and the renovated rooms have heating, satellite television and a hairdryer.
The facilities, at the Hotel, include a buffet restaurant, a bar with live music, laundry service, internet access and currency exchange. There is a swimming pool, which is covered and heated in winter, and a terrace solarium. Guests can take part in various sports and activities such as volleyball, cycling (bicycles supplied free by Hotel), windsurfing/sailing, and horse riding from the Hotel's own riding stables. Within ten minutes walk from the hotel is a Spa/Fitness centre with indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi etc. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in Roses.
