Description PARADOR

location- This hotel is situated at the entrance of the city on a natural balcony of the left margin of the River Eo, famous for its abundance of trout and salmon. It stands 40 metres above sea level, which allows a good view of the surrounding towns and coastline. 5 kilometres from the hotel is the beach, Los Castros, and further along the coast others can be found. rooms- The rooms are decorated in the Castilian style, from where one can enjoy the Asturian horizon. restaurant- There is a dining-room overlooking the gardens and the River Eo. The entrance is governed by a table with cart shape and the walls are decorated with typical items and motifs. The star dish is seafood but, as in the rest of the north of Spain, cuisine is varied. exterior- This hotel is a look-out between Asturias and Galicia. It was opened in 1958. It is just round the corner of "Plaza de Espana" and is preceded by a well maintained garden. There is also a car park on the premises. lobby- The chequed floor in the reception area gives way to the long corridors that lead to the welcoming and comfortable rooms. general- The Parador is located in the maribe of Ribadeo, 2 minutes from the town center. 12-04SS. 3 kms to city centre. 200 kms to the nearest airport (santiago de compostela). 1 km to the nearest station (?).
