PARADOR
location- This parador in the pinewood of navarredonda de Gredos was chosen by king Alfonso XIII in 1926. The parador was inaugurated in 1928 as the first of the network of state run tourist establishments. The sierra de Gredos, where the parador stands, is part of the central mountain system. From a spot called alto del risquillo there is a magnificent view over the mountain range.
