Casa Labra is a well renowned restaurant in Madrid which was opened in 1860 by the Spanish Socialist Party and today it is one of the oldest buildings in Madrid. It serves tapas including a selection of Spanish cheeses, hams and fishes. The speciality at Casa Labra is cod but if you are not a fan of fish then you can choose from a selection of other Spanish dishes such as Andalusian gazpacho, cocido madrileño or tortilla.
There is usually a queue of people waiting to get into the restaurant and during the summer months many people like to eat outside. However, we recommend that you make a reservation in advance as this is a popular place at any time of the year.
