location- The hotel was built around the remains of the old 14th century romanesque church convent of Santo Domingo of which the impressive cloisters have been preserved. The town of Seo De Urgel lies in a very fertile valley between the rivers segre and valira and is surrounded by the high mountains of the sierras of Arcabell and cadi.
