location- The hotel is situated in front of an impressive medieval castle known as the fortress of Monterrey. On the hill where the medieval building stood, you can still make out the typical primitive fortified dwellings. rooms- The rooms are traditionally decorated and with all facilities.Some bedrooms have views to the refreshing swimming pool ans the gardens. restaurant- Typical cuisine of the Region (galician) is very varied. There is empanada gallega (meat or fish pie), lacon con grelos (salted pork with turnips) and caldo gallego (hot soup with white beans and cabbage). Blending well with the landscape and from its advantageous point, one can view the entire surrounding countryside. lobby- From the small reception area, the wooden staircase leads to the rooms. general- The Parador recreates the construction of a traditional galician country house, with central battlemented tower.
