location- This hotel is located directly by the main train station in the charming little old town of Vevey, which is just along the shore of Lake Leman from Montreux. rooms- The rooms are of varying sizes, ranging between small and medium-sized. They are simply furnished and decorated in neutral colour schemes. The rooms and the bathrooms are in good condition, even though certain aspects are a little old fashioned. restaurant- The main breakfast and dining room is located off the lobby on the ground floor. It is a surprisingly large and elegant room given the relative simplicity of some of the other areas of the hotel, and features a lovely high corniced ceiling. exterior- The building is traditional in style, blending in with the other apartment and office buildings in the area. lobby- The lobby is small and welcoming with ample seating and a small mosaic-topped reception desk. general- This hotel is not the most glamorous in town but represents excellent value for money and a very practical location especially for those using Switzerland s superb public transport system. One unexpected bonus is that the hotel also boasts an indoor swimming pool.
