location- The hotel is centrally located, only a few steps from the main train station, Zoologischer Garten, in the middle of Berlin s banking and financial district. Kurfurstendamm is near, as well as the elegant boutiques and shopping arcades located in the many side streets to this traditional street.
rooms- The medium size rooms are decorated with a lot of dark wooden furniture and brown fabrics. The rooms and bathrooms are in good condition. restaurant- The Grill is quite an original restaurant featuring wooden barrels on wooden shelves and little curios hanging from the ceiling. It has a wooden floor and furniture offering a rustic atmosphere. The main restaurant is again furnished in a dark brown color scheme. Large windows give plenty of light and offer a pleasant view of the hotel s garden. exterior- The hotel is a modern building. lobby- The medium size lobby and reception area is furnished and decorated in dark brown but has been renovated recently with a new bar just next to reception. general- The Berlin Excelsior is a first-class, high-rise modern hotel. The hotel has two restaurants, serving international cuisine. One of the restaurants serves pub style.
