Hotel Riu Belplaya is located 2 km from Torremolinos, which is probably one of the best-known holiday resorts in Spain. On the bustling high street, San Miguel, you will find the Centre with its many shops, bars, fashion boutiques, speciality restaurants and old wine cellars selling red and white wine from casks. For night-life lovers, there is always a great atmosphere especially at the week-ends. Its long beach of white sand is ideal for children and water-sport lovers alike. On the Costa del Sol you will find it all: sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, pedalos, tennis, ten-pin bowling, horse-riding and golf. You can get a taste of old Andalusia in the district of La Carihuela. On the restored and enlarged promenade there is a wide choice of seafood restaurants. The Costa Benalmadena has a marina, a shopping centre and recreation centre. The hotel has one 3-storey, one 5-storey and one 9-storey building just opposite of the Torremolinos beach, which is only 50m away.
The 325 guestrooms of the hotel are equipped with bathroom/WC with bidet, hairdryer, fitted carpet, telephone, central air conditioning/heating (according to season), ceiling fan, mini-bar, satellite TV, surround music channel, in-room safe (additional charge) and balcony or terrace (except some single rooms). There is one special evening organized by the hotel every week. You can enjoy your drink in the lounge bar.
The 312sq.m swimming pool is heated in winter. There is also a children’s swimming pool provided, as well as indoor 37sq.m pool which is also heated in the winter. Lounge chairs, sun umbrellas and towels are complimentary (deposit required) by the pool, Lounge chairs and sun umbrellas are available on the beach, albeit at an additional charge. The terrace-solarium is at your disposal. Hotel Riu Belplaya offers complimentary table tennis and gym facilities. Other sports and facilities in the hotel (that carry an extra charge) include billiards and artificial bowling green. Other sports and facilities nearby (also with additional charge) are horseback riding, 18-hole golf course, bicycle rental, and a variety of water sports (like windsurfing, sailing, banana boat; all seasonal). Several times a week you are able to enjoy live music and shows.
