location- situated just outside of the city centre and within a stone s throw of the congress centre. Set in beautiful gardens and close to the River Darro which runs all through the city. Public transport is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel and the airport is easily accessible in approximately 20 minutes drive. rooms- Are comfortable and tastefully decorated standard bedrooms and luxurious suites. Each floor is decorated in a different colour scheme, but all have a similar style. Each has air conditioning/heating, mini bar, direct dial telephone, satellite television (with pay per view channels). All bathrooms are beautifully decorated with marble finishings and each come equipped with hairdryer. restaurant- There is an a la carte restaurant serving delicious cuisine and an extensive buffet breakfast serving hot and cold food located on the lower ground floor. exterior- Very sandy like upon view with decoration of the moorish influence. It has a character all of its own and is totally different to any other hotel in Granada. Marble pillars and a fountain at the entrance to the hotel evoke the atmosphere an ancient Arabian palace. lobby- The interior of the hotel takes its inspiration from the Alhambra Palace . Magnificent and expensive antique furniture and colourful tiled floors add a touch of class to the hotel. The reception is directly in front of the entrance with a bar located to the right and seating area where people can relax or read quietly. general- There are eight floors which can be reached by glass elevators with breathtaking views over the city. There is also an outdoor swimming pool (open from mid June until mid September). There are also luxurious suites available. A fantastic hotel in Granada with excellent service and perfect for those not wishing to be right in the heart of the city but yet only a few minutes walk away. Comes highly recommended for all types of traveller. 21.07.05 DU. 15 kms to the airport (granada). 120 kms to the airport (malaga). 3 km to the nearest station (granada renfe station). Close to the trade fair ground (congress hall -just in front-). 50 km to the nearest beach.
