 | Hi, I'm xensboy :)
In Barcelona last year The Police were on all the covers of the newspapers, but in Madrid Rafa Nadal's victory in Wimbledon got all the attention. I didn't see the band on any cover at all.
As a result, this video is very different from its Catalonian brother clip. However, I hope you like the collection of images.
I have to say that I really liked the Renfe Talgo train, the Rock In Rio organization, and the Spanish tv live coverage (though they missed out on the last encore, "Next To You.")
Under a scorching Castilian sun, I met two great persons: a 17-year-old rapper from Córdoba, Argentina, named Paolo and aka Ligge, and an amiable girl from Toledo, Ana. You can see them both here. Ana is with her nice husband Javi. We were all in first row to see Sting, Stewart and Andy.
All the burning rays of the sun and the tired feet were worth it, because the concert was outstandingly fine. The great bearded hero said: "Hola. Soy Sting". It was a supreme show. The three players outdid themselves and the crowd reaction was fantastic. Songs like "Wrapped Around Your Finger" and "Invisible Sun" were admirably performed, with great finesse and feeling.
After the last encore with "Next To You," I confess that I felt desolate.
* This video is dedicated to my friends Ligge and Ana.
